Creature Care and Handling

CREATURES enjoy many of the same comforts as people. Optimal conditions include a cool dry environment away from too much heat, direct sunlight or dampness. You wouldn't like to be kept in a hot attic, car dashboard or damp basement, and neither will your creature.

CREATURES love to be pampered- a quick rubdown once in a while with a rubber protectant such as ARMOR ALL or Son of a Gun will keep your creature smiling for years to come. This is especially true if you are going to keep your creature outside or in any other less than optimal environment.

BE CAREFUL of any feather type feature on your creature when cleaning or protecting your creature; while the rubber plush material is very tough, the feathers are very unforgiving.

NEVER use anything oil based on the creature- oil acts as a solvent which will eat away and melt your creature buddy.

NEVER attach anything to your creature with duct tape- the adhesive on the tape will act much the same way as oil.

KEEP your creature clean with a mild soap or spray cleaner such as Windex.

NEVER scrub your creature or use abrasive cleaners. The rubber itself should be fine, but some of the airbrush could possible come off. If you must store your creature, try to give him some space. A boxed up creature will fair much better with a little room to breathe, and if left in it's original shape. Packing them too tightly or piling a bunch of them into a small box does not make for a happy creature at all. This is especially true of creatures left in attics or damp basements.

CREATURES can be lifelong friends, and following these simple guidelines will keep your creature a happy companion for years to come!
